Coach Knox has been coaching the team for a few years now, always keeping an eye out for any new talent that might contribute positively to the current boys that had been drafted. It is one of his favorite pastimes to be the one to check out any potential new recruits. The other coaches find he is quite good at it too.
It has taken Lane some time to line up the interview, something always getting in the way of the suggested time slot. He understands this was his chance to use his dashing good looks to persuade the coach into doing whatever he deems necessary to get chosen.
